Symposium “Mind the Gap: Critical Feminist Perspectives on Educational Technology” – 4th November 2024

Prof. Dr. Svenja Bedenlier and the team of the Chair of Pedagogy with a Focus on Digitization in Higher and Adult Education cordially invite all interested parties from science and educational practice to the symposium “Mind the Gap: Critical Feminist Perspectives on Educational Technology”.

This symposium aims at reflecting on and critically discussing implicit, gender related assumptions that guide educational technology and AI formats. Beside a greeting from Dr. Magda Luthay, the Head of the Office of Equality and Diversity, two keynotes around the topics “Critical (Digital) Pedagogy: Transaction vs. Co-construction” (Dr. Suzan Köseoglu, University of Greenwich) and “Critical Feminist Perspectives on Power and AI” (Eva Gengler, FAU) as well as an interactive workshop concerning the topic Creating Equitable Spaces – in Education and Beyond await you.

The symposium is being held in English.

Attendance at the symposium is limited to 20 participants. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
