Target agreements of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law
The fourth target agreement round 2023–2027 has been in force since January 1, 2023.
The measures listed in the target agreements for increasing the proportion of women in academia are aimed to help FAU reach the following goals:
- Increase the proportion of women completing a doctoral degree at the Faculty from 44% (average from 2018-2020) to 55% by 2027
- Increase the proportion of women completing a habilitation at the Faculty from 14% (average from 2018-2020) to 44% by 2027
- Maintain the proportion of female assistant professors (W1) at the Faculty at 62% (as of December 2020) as far as possible through to 2027
- Increase the proportion of women who hold an associate/full professorship (W2/W3) at the School of Law from 9% (as of December 2020) to 18% by 2027
- Increase the proportion of women who hold an associate/full professorship (W2/W3) at the School of Business, Economics and Society from 20% (as of December 2020) to 24% by 2027.

- Conference funding for participation in scientific conferences
- Seminar program for female early career researchers
- Individual coaching sessions for female early career researchers
- Individual career development for female postdoctoral researchers, habilitation candidates and assistant professors
- Visiting scholarships for female postdoctoral researchers, habilitation candidates and assistant professors
